First Capital Tactical Warranty Policy
At First Capital Tactical, we stand behind the gear we build. Our products are designed for real-world use, and if something goes wrong because of a problem with our workmanship or the product itself, we want the opportunity to make it right.
Lifetime Kydex Guarantee
All First Capital Tactical molded Kydex products are backed by our Lifetime Kydex Guarantee.
If an FCT molded Kydex product cracks, breaks, or experiences a failure that prevents it from providing proper retention under normal use, First Capital Tactical will, at our discretion, repair or replace the affected product for the life of the product.
The Lifetime Kydex Guarantee applies to the molded Kydex component and its ability to perform its intended function.
The guarantee does not cover normal cosmetic wear, scratches, fading, loss or theft, intentional damage, misuse, improper installation, damage caused by unauthorized modifications, or damage resulting from use outside the product's intended purpose.
Replaceable hardware and components—including screws, posts, clips, loops, mounting hardware, straps, and similar accessories—are not considered part of the molded Kydex lifetime guarantee unless the failure resulted from a manufacturing or assembly defect.
Other FCT Products
Products that are not covered by the Lifetime Kydex Guarantee are backed by FCT on a case-by-case basis.
If you experience a problem with an FCT product, contact us with a description of the issue and, when requested, photographs of the product. We will evaluate the circumstances, age and condition of the product, type of failure, and intended use.
Depending on the circumstances, First Capital Tactical may offer repair, replacement, replacement components, store credit, or another appropriate resolution at our discretion.
Warranty Claims
To submit a warranty claim, please contact First Capital Tactical and include:
- Your name and contact information
- Order number or proof of purchase, if available
- Description of the issue
- Photographs showing the affected area
- Any other information requested to evaluate the claim
Do not return a product unless instructed to do so by First Capital Tactical.
Modifications & Compatibility
Modification of an FCT product by the customer or a third party may void warranty coverage when the modification caused or contributed to the failure.
Customers are responsible for confirming that their firearm, weapon light, optic, mounting system, belt, or other equipment matches the configuration for which the product was ordered. Fitment issues resulting from incorrectly selected equipment or customer configuration are not considered manufacturing defects.
