About First Capital Tactical

Built From Experience. Built for Everyday Life.

First Capital Tactical started with a simple idea: the gear you depend on should be built by people who understand what it means to depend on it.

As a veteran and law enforcement-owned company, FCT was built from firsthand experience carrying and using equipment in the real world. That experience taught us that good gear isn't about looking tactical or having the longest list of features. It needs to be comfortable enough to carry every day, durable enough to take a beating, and dependable when it matters.

That's the mindset behind everything we build.

From concealed-carry holsters and magazine carriers to duty equipment and accessories, our products are designed with a focus on function, durability, retention, and practical everyday use. We take lessons learned through real-world experience and apply them to equipment built for everyday carriers and professionals alike.

FCT is based in Chillicothe, Ohio—the First Capital of Ohio—which is where our name comes from. We're proud of where we started, proud to manufacture our products in America, and committed to building a company where quality and customer service still mean something.

What “Built for the Fight” Means to Us

At First Capital Tactical, Built for the Fight reflects the mindset behind our work: be prepared, stay resilient, and meet challenges with purpose.

The fight looks different for everyone. For some, it means putting on a uniform and answering the next call. For others, it means carrying every day to protect themselves and the people they love. It can also mean facing personal hardships, rebuilding after setbacks, or finding the strength to keep moving forward.

Whatever form it takes, preparation matters.

Our experience has shaped a straightforward approach to the gear we build: practical design, durable construction, and careful attention to the details that matter when you carry. Every product we make is guided by a simple belief—you should feel confident in the equipment you choose.

Your fight is personal. Our commitment is to build gear you can depend on.

This Is FCT

We're not trying to be the biggest tactical company in America. We're focused on building something we're proud to put our name on and equipment we'd be comfortable carrying ourselves.

Whether you're carrying every day, heading to the range, or gearing up for another shift, we're here to build gear that earns its place in your setup.
