Whether you're ordering your first FCT product or you've carried our gear for years, we want ordering to be simple. Here are answers to some of the questions we get most often.
How long will my order take?
Many First Capital Tactical products are built to order, so production lead times apply. Lead times can change depending on current order volume and product availability.
Lead times are production times only and do not include shipping/transit time.
Are FCT products made in the USA?
Yes. First Capital Tactical molded Kydex products are proudly made in the USA. We believe in American manufacturing and building dependable gear that we're proud to put the FCT name on.
Do your products have a warranty?
Yes. Our molded Kydex products are backed by our Lifetime Kydex Guarantee. If an FCT molded Kydex product cracks, breaks, or experiences a failure that prevents proper retention under normal use, we'll repair or replace it at our discretion.
Other FCT products are covered on a case-by-case basis.
What if I don't see my firearm listed?
We're constantly expanding our firearm and equipment compatibility. If you don't see your firearm, light, or configuration listed, contact us before ordering.
We may already have support available or be able to tell you if it's something we're working on.
Can you make a holster for my weapon light?
Many of our holsters are available for specific firearm and weapon-light combinations. Compatibility varies by model, so make sure the firearm and light selected when ordering match your actual setup.
If you're unsure, contact us before placing your order and we'll help determine compatibility.
Are your holsters optic ready?
Many FCT holsters are designed to accommodate common slide-mounted optics. Check the individual product description and available options before ordering, as compatibility can vary by holster and firearm configuration.
Do your holsters have adjustable retention?
Where applicable, FCT holsters and carriers are designed with adjustable retention, allowing you to fine-tune the feel of your equipment.
Retention should always be checked after making adjustments and periodically during normal use.
What's the difference between EDC and Duty Gear?
Our Everyday Carry products focus on comfortable, practical equipment for regular daily carry.
Our Duty Gear is designed around professional belt and equipment setups where mounting, accessibility, durability, and retention are especially important.
There's some crossover between the two—use whichever setup works best for how you carry.
Do you offer law enforcement or military discounts?

Can I change or cancel my order?
Because many FCT products are made specifically for the configuration selected at checkout, contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
Once production has started, changes or cancellations may not always be possible.
Can I return a custom or made-to-order product?
Made-to-order and configuration-specific products may have different return eligibility than standard inventory. Please review our Return & Refund Policy before ordering.
If there's a problem with something you received, contact us and give us the opportunity to make it right.
When will I receive tracking information?
Once your order has been completed, packaged, and handed off for shipment, tracking information will be sent using the contact information provided with your order.
Remember that the shipping estimate provided by the carrier begins after production is complete.
Do you take custom orders?
For configurations or products not currently offered on the website, contact us with what you're looking for. We can't guarantee every custom request can be accommodated, but we're always interested in hearing what our customers need.
Do you offer agency orders?
Yes. First Capital Tactical proudly works with law enforcement agencies and departments to fulfill agency equipment needs. For bulk orders, department purchases, quotes, invoicing, or questions about available products, please contact us directly.
